Career
Elisabeth Degryse was born in Uccle on September 22 1980. With a Master in political science, she was elected to the House of Representatives in the June 2024 federal elections as a member of civil society, before being appointed by her party as Minister-President of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation/French speaking community Government in July 2024.
For 12 years, she worked for the Mutualité chrétienne in various positions. She was the first woman to become Vice-President. Prior to this, she worked in a Parliament (Brussels regional) and a ministerial cabinet (Employment and Equal Opportunities).
