Identity card or passport

Belgian citizens travelling  to the Italian Republic should carry their valid Belgian identity card or passport.
 

European COVID certificate

This State Visit is subject to the European COVID certificate system in order to comply with Italian rules.

All the participants must bring their European COVID certificate (proof of vaccination, PCR testing or recovery), which will be scanned before attending all activities.
 

Passenger locator form

Passengers travelling from Belgium to Italy must:

  1. fill in the EU digital Passenger Locator Form
  2. present an EU Digital Covid Certificate proving that he/she has either been vaccinated against COVID-19, has received a negative test result (maximum 48 hours prior) or has recovered from COVID-19

Passengers travelling from Italy to Belgium must:

  1. fill in the Belgian Passenger Locator Form in the 48 hours before arrival in Belgium
  2. present an EU Digital Covid Certificate proving that he/she has either been vaccinated against COVID-19, has received a negative test result (maximum 48 hours prior) or has recovered from COVID-19

 

In addition to EU Digital Covid Certificate and a filled in Passenger Locator Form for Italy, a proof of a negative PCR test or an antigen test (by a professional, not a self-test) is strongly recommended for all the participants of the State Visit. Such a test is mandatory for delegation members invited at the Presidential Palace / Quirinal Palace. Fast PCR test (with results in maximum 3 hours) as well as antigen tests are available at the COVID-19 Test Center of Brussels Airport. Antigen tests can also be done at most pharmacies (list to be found on www.info-coronavirus.be).
